are pleased by the glow
watch the eyes go black
as they coast with the scroll
of the who's who
of the subjugated news.
All the colors
a calming, sating
numbing blue.
Blue like the oceans
of comment spew,
a head a-buoying
to remark on an issue
or finish a joke
to be punctuated by stiff thumb up pokes
a validity badge for the verbally baroque
