The scars run up and down her thighs
makes me think of my first time I thought about the blade.
They used to tell me I was sharp
and I bet she is, too.
She don't need a sheath,
just maybe someone to fall into.
So where can you go when there's no place like home?
Where can you turn when all you got's a fistful of keys
from all the lessons you've learned?
You'll be singing...
No place like home.
So tell me can you hear that little voice of fear?
Is it what keeps you here or is it something more
than what you're ready to show someone yet?
And now you can't forget the way they said
that they forgive you but their hearts just haven't yet.
So where can you go when there's no place like home?
Where can you turn when all you got is your two feet
and all your bridges are burned?
You'll be singing...
No place like home.
You can go anywhere
but there's no place like home.
